EMERGENCY BROADCAST!

As many of you may be aware, a group known as "ROT" AKA "Reign of Terror" which is allegedly working alongside TLOPO has hacked into the accounts of a handful of players lately here at POR. Without getting too specific as to how/why this occurred, we'd simply like to strongly advise you all to update your passwords IMMEDIATELY in order to ensure that your account is under solid lock-and-key and is not in danger of being compromised.
We have taken several measures to further improve the security of our game's systems and databases to decrease the likelihood of an issue such as this from ever occurring again in the future. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused any of you loyal retribution-seeking swashbucklers. Please be sure to relay this message to all of yer fellow pirates and buccaneers!

I changed my password, but now I'm stuck with a character named "Praised Father" instead of Johnny Dreadhawk. I also received an obscenity laden post on the sign in screen. Someone has fouled my account. Please assist.
